Swansea Total Fitness 4th Annual Thanksgiving 5k Run/3k Walk

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros
Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off. Sean Fitzpatrick joined Bristol Total Fitness in October 2016. He attends the gym at least 4-5 days a week. Sean enjoys doing different variations of cardio, especially the elliptical and treadmill along with circuit training exercises. He is a former federal police officer and his job required him to stay fit. This year, Sean has lost a total of 100 pounds! He says, “As we age, it gets harder to lose weight and maintain it. You need to push yourself to at least thirty minutes of exercise and find what works for you.” We are very proud of what Sean has accomplished and we wish him the best in his future endeavors. Awesome job! |
Mark Mcaloon has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since October 2016. He works out faithfully five times a week and his favorite workout day is chest day with the incline bench. Mark believes that the body is an incredible machine, if you push it to the limit it will follow. Aside from gaining muscle, since joining the gym, Mark has lost 30+ pounds. He enjoys coming to the gym, he thinks the staff is awesome and very helpful! Keep up the good work Mark! Your hard work has truly paid off! |
Deborah Phillips has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since August 2015. Her consistency and dedication to the gym contribute to her good health and fitness. Deb has always been into fitness since her late 20’s. At this time in her life though, maintaining her bone density is really important and one of her main goals. Deb also loves the feeling of being energized after a great workout. When she’s not utilizing the gym, her other passion is reading a good book. Great job Deb! Don Lawrence joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in March 2011 and works out 4 days a week! He says, “Being a member of the gym has enabled me to do multiple 5Ks, mud runs, and a sprint triathlon.” Don’s advice – “Do something, anything – and stick to it! Something is always better than nothing!” Don is a big fan of the group exercise setting and says it has been the biggest motivator to staying consistent. He also adds – “a healthy dose of peer pressure doesn’t hurt either!” Don would like to thank all of the group ex-instructors who keep the classes fresh and challenging. “And also a thank you to the staff and members who make this feel like family.” |
