Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

This is really just a giant Spin Party for a great cause! With over 80 participants last year, Total Fitness raised almost $60,000 for the ACS through this event!

TRX Suspension Training with Adriana Ferns
Break out from your old routine and join Adriana for this 8-week program. TRX is a form of suspension training used to perform total body workouts with exercises that engage your core, while using your own bodyweight for resistance. Adriana will use TRX to take your resistance training to a new level through functional and dynamic movements, perfect for any age and any fitness level. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fit Club with Dave Parker

Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and endurance. Group training high intensity and conditioning workouts will include a variety of equipment such as: ropes, kettlebells, sleds and more. Fitness gains will be measured by comparing weights and times from previous workouts. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Know it won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

Intro to the Pilates Reformer with Dawn Casella

Learn how to use the Pilates Reformer in a class setting that replaces 3 private sessions required to participate in a group reformer class. (min. 3 max. 4 participants)

Rock Your Resolution with Stacia Abdow

Stacia’s weight-loss challenge is an 8-week program to keep participants accountable to their New Year’s Resolutions. The workout will be designed to be high intensity interval training. Including weekly weigh-ins to keep you focused toward your goals. Let’s keep those heart rates up and burn some major calories! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

N-Spire Fit with Julie Fostin

Are you in need of some fitness N-Spiration? Join Julie for this 6-week group training that will motivate you to achieve your health and wellness goals. She will challenge you with interval workouts with a variety of equipment to improve your strength and cardiovascular fitness. Enjoy working out with fellow participants to push you to the next level of fitness. Program will include a: fitness assessment, weigh-in at the beginning and end of program along with a weekly email with fit tips and recipes. Julie will N-Spire you to believe fitness is fun! Fever Fit with Julie Fostin

X-Training Plus with James SimmonsThis 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Let James help you achieve your goals using the latest and most effective methods. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Total Body Fitness with James Simmons

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone! Join James for this 8-week program that will help you achieve your goals by using the latest and most effective training methods. Samurai Sprint Mud Run Training with Stacia Abdow

Have you always wanted to try an obstacle course race but wasn’t sure how to train for it? Personal Trainer, Stacia Abdow has got you covered with her 6-week training program for the Samurai Mud Run in July. This program will prepare you for obstacles such as, balance beam, box jumps, rope climbing and many more. With Stacia’s expertise and motivation she will get your ready for any obstacle that might get in your way! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

3D Fitness with Bryna Gotlib

Start losing body fat and add lean muscles with Bryna’s intense 8 week program. It incorporates 3-dimensional training, flexibility and cardio using a variety of equipment. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Spin Yourself Thin with Sue Adams

This 8 week weight-loss program will include a 1/2 hour of weight training followed by a 1/2 hour private spin class. Each participant will receive a nutrition plan and counseling, along with weekly weigh-ins to record pounds and body fat loss. Sue will be available for any questions you may have 24/7. Let 2017 be your year to accomplish your weight-loss goals! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Rock the Beach Weight Loss Clinic with Sue Adams

Time to get beach body ready! Participants will embark on a 10-week weight loss clinic that combines personalized diet plans and weekly one on one coaching sessions. Sue will educate and motivate you to keep moving forward by providing accountability with weekly weigh-ins and bi-weekly body fat testing. Workouts will be given for you to do on your own with a wide range of exercises that will keep you motivated to reach your weight loss goals.

Bridal Boot Camp with Lizzie Newton
Getting married? Lizzie will get you and your wedding party ready to strut your best self-down the aisle! 8 weeks of full body workouts that will keep your heart rates firing, muscles engaged to burn fat and calories. Workouts will include a variety of equipment along with assessments (at the beginning and end), weekly weigh-ins, food journaling and a private Facebook group to keep you motivated. Turn your backless, strapless, and short dresses into the motivation to get and stay fit! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Members that Inspire Us


Steve Viscione has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since 2001. He attends the gym 5 days per week enjoying Yoga classes, free weights and training for 5k’s. The sense of community and camaraderie has kept Steve coming back for so long. He believes consistency is the key to success and that “90% of life is showing up”. As a 15 year member, he practices what he preaches! Congratulations Steve!
Nicole Phillips has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since April 2013. She works out at least 5 days a week. Nicole’s favorite workout is leg day followed by shoulders. Since last summer, she has lost nearly 20lbs. Nicole believes in mixing up your workouts and stepping out of your comfort zone. Get comfortable with uncomfortable! Her favorite quote is by Katrin Davidsdottir “Be the best me! No comparisons, no disappointments, be proud of your best!” Nicole says, she is very grateful for SWTF! The gym has made a very big impact on her and is a very important part of her life. Congratulations Nicole! Keep up the good work!
David Galbraith has been a member of Seekonk Total Fitness since March 2016. He joined to get fit, lose weight and to feel good about himself. David comes to the gym at least 5 days a week and his favorite days at the gym are chest and shoulders. You can also find him in the Spin room once or twice a week sweating it out with Lizzie! David is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys hanging out with his kids who are 16 & 21 years old. His favorite thing about Seekonk Total Fitness is the friendly staff who make his favorite shake, Berry Blast! Keep up the great work David!
Mike Costa joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in April 2010. He is in the gym 5 days a week and focuses on specific muscle groups daily for a full body workout by the end of the week. As a firefighter Mike’s job can be taxing. “Being in good condition is a must, especially being on call 24/7.” You can regularly find him in the gym working out and talking with other members. As friendly as Mike is, he still sticks to his training and takes it seriously. “Consistency is the answer to good conditioning”. Between working out hard, Mike enjoys his interactions with the members and staff alike. Congratulations Mike!
