Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three-hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society! Grace To joined Bristol Total Fitness in March 2012. She likes to come to the gym once a day, and really enjoys doing different combinations of weights and exercises to keep improving her fitness level. Adam Belue joined Swansea Total Fitness in February 2011. He started getting serious about his fitness routine in March 2017. Following two knee surgeries and physical therapy, Adam had to relearn how to walk and run. Since then he is back to playing tennis and hitting the gym hard. Adam has taught himself a lot about fitness and tracks his progress which helps him stay motivated. He says there are really no excuses to not come to the gym, you have to stick with it and make your own routine. Adam, thank you for sticking with it. We love seeing you in the gym! Stephen Evans joined Seekonk Total Fitness since April 2013. He started training with Walter after having surgeries on his wrist and shoulder. Stephen couldn’t have done it without Walters’ help. He never thought that he would be able to wake up early in the morning and go to the gym but has made it part of his routine to get his workout in before the start of his day. Scott Deterra joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in July 2018. As far as his fitness journey goes, “It never ends!” Scott is an avid spinner and has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Pedal to End Cancer for the past two years. He attributes his success to the DTF Spinning instructors. Scott would like to give a special shout-out to instructors Julie and Carrie, for always pushing him, even if it means Carrie having to turn the knob!
