Total Fitness Pet Drive

Total Fitness is teaming up with Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River for a pet supplies drive. We will be collecting pet supplies, treats, food, etc. to donate to animals in need. There will be a box to put your pet items in, or it can be handed to the front desk. See our shelter table in the foyer for a more detailed list of supplies.

Pedal To End Cancer – Thank You!

We had another full house at our annual Total Fitness Clubs fundraiser – 85 participants raised over $58,000 for the American Cancer Society through this year’s event! We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to all the participants who contributed to the success of this great cause. We’re especially proud of Total Fitness Member, Andrea Alexander, who was the Top ‘Pedal to End Cancer 2017’ Fundraiser in all of New England, for raising $48,425!”

Mary Keenan Benefit Class

Join Total Fitness Instructor’s Adriana Ferns for a 45 minute Boot Camp and Peggy Murgo for a 45 minute Spin specialty class to raise funds for Mary Keenan. 100% of the funds raised will be going to help Mary with her medical costs. Tough Training with Adriana Ferns

Ready to tackle a new and exciting goal this year? This is it! This 8-week outdoor group training will prepare you for your next race. Adriana will simulate obstacle course challenges to test your speed and endurance. The workouts will include: running, jumping, balancing and more along with nutritional guidance. (Weather permitting) (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Sugar Shakedown with Adriana Ferns

End the vicious circle of yo-yo diets and unhealthy patterns! For 6 weeks this program will help clean out the sugar from your body and help stop those carb cravings as well as craving those sweets. Meal plans; a grocery list, workouts and weekly weigh-ins/body fat measurements will be given throughout the program. With the support from Adriana and fellow participants, you will work and learn how to eat, live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fit Club with Dave Parker

Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and endurance. Group training high intensity and conditioning workouts will include a variety of equipment such as: ropes, kettlebells, sleds and more. Fitness gains will be measured by comparing weights and times from previous workouts. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Know it won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. (min. 3 max. 10 participants)

Fever Fit with Julie Fostin

Catch the fever! Make progress and mix up your routine with circuit strength training, cardio intervals and more. Rock Your Resolution with Stacia Abdow

Stacia’s weight-loss challenge is an 8-week program to keep participants accountable to their New Year’s Resolutions. The workout will be designed to be high intensity interval training. X-Training Plus with James SimmonsThis 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettle bells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Pure Grit Fit Camp with Erica Morency

This 8-week program will give you the tools and determination to bring your workouts to the next level! Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including: cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Members that Inspire Us


Brandon Williams joined Bristol Total Fitness in November 2007. You can find him in the gym 4-5 times a week. His workout consists a mix of hang cleans, kettlebell swings, single leg exercises, core and more. We asked Brandon why he trains “I’m the head Strength and Conditioning Coach for U-Mass Dartmouth, I need to be a great example for the student athletes I work with”. His advice to anyone is “Keep it simple, don’t make it harder than it has to be”. We completely agree with you. Congratulations and keep up the amazing work!
Stacy Alexander joined Swansea Total Fitness in January 2016. In 2017, she started training 5 hours a week with Jim Nolan and since then has found a new strength and appreciation for her fitness. Stacy says, “That every day I feel stronger and love it when I can add more weight to my exercises. I have come to love my body in a new way and I’m focusing on getting plenty of rest, fueling my body with clean eats and being faithful to my workouts.” Stacy loves coming in for her workouts because the staff at the front desk is really friendly and her trainer Jim Nolan encourages her to break through barriers while keeping workouts fun!
Michael Thompson joined Seekonk Total Fitness in January 2017. He started out in the 6 Weeks to Wellness Program to help him develop a healthy living style. Michael wants to lose weight and gain muscle tone while maintaining a healthy diet. Outside of the gym, Michael likes to spend time with his family and takes care of his 103 year old grandmother, who is remarkable. His biggest motivations for coming to the gym is the friendly atmosphere and his personal training sessions with Laurie. Michael also is motivated by seeing the results of his structured workout program and coming in daily for cardio and strength training. Great work Michael!
Peter Mello Sr. and Patrick Mello joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in 2012. They are an excellent example of how a father’s encouragement can lead to a positive bonding experience. You can find Peter and Patrick training together in the free weight area pushing each other to the limit. The two agree that success is a combination of eating well and hard work – “there is no other way”.  Peter and Patrick understand the importance of consistency in training and we love seeing them work hard together. What keeps them coming back to DTF? – “This place is great, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.” Thank you and Congratulations!
