Pedal To End Cancer

Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three-hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!

This is really just a giant Spin Party for a great cause! With over 78 participants last year, Total Fitness raised over $12,000 for the ACS through this event!

Open to all members and the public!

Total Body Fitness with James Simmons

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone! Join James for this 8-week program that will help you achieve your goals by using the latest and most effective training methods. Efficient workouts that will build muscle, endurance and flexibility while burning fat. Participants will learn how to properly perform exercises to improve overall fitness. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will also be provided. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

X-Training Plus with James Simmons

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettlebells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Let James help you achieve your goals using the latest and most effective methods. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

N-Spire Fit with Julie Fostin

Are you in need of some fitness N-Spiration? Join Julie for this 6-week group training that will motivate you to achieve your health and wellness goals. She will challenge you with interval workouts with a variety of equipment to improve your strength and cardiovascular fitness. Enjoy working out with fellow participants to push you to the next level of fitness. The program will include a: fitness assessment, weigh-in at the beginning and end of the program along with a weekly email with fit tips and recipes. Julie will N-Spire you to believe fitness is fun! All levels of fitness welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Motiv8ed 2 B FIT with Julie Fostin

This 6-week program will motivate you to be your best version of your healthiest self. Total body conditioning that involves both strength and cardiovascular exercise. Designed to change each week to target all major muscle groups in a variety of ways. We will utilize a mix of free weights, bands, medicine ball and more. This training is suited for the beginner to a fitness fanatic. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Fit Body Boot Camp with Stacia Abdow

This 6-week program will offer you a challenging total body workout designed to burn maximum fat and calories. Your training will include various types of equipment along with nutritional guidance, weekly recipes, and fit tips. Stacia will help you achieve your fitness goals and build your confidence. Catch the fever! Make progress and mix up your routine with circuit strength training, cardio intervals and more. Fitness 101 with Julie Fostin

This 6-week program is tailored to the new gym participant and/or someone who is just starting out in their fitness journey. Total body workouts will be progressive by using a variety of equipment. Fitness consultation is required to offer a safe and effective workout. All ages and levels of fitness welcome.

Rock Your Resolution with Stacia Abdow

Stacia’s weight-loss challenge is an 8-week program to keep participants accountable to their New Year's Resolutions. The workout will be designed to be high-intensity interval training. Including weekly weigh-ins to keep you focused on your goals. Let's keep those heart rates up and burn some major calories! (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

MEMBERS THAT INSPIRE US

Beth Mello joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in April 2016. She attends the gym 4-5 times per week. Kickboxing, Zumba Strong and Cardio Chisel are among her favorite group classes. Beth always wanted to be a runner but didn’t think she had it in her. After losing 55lbs and with consistent training, Beth was able to complete her first 5k! She believes food preparation is key to living a healthy lifestyle and keeps her on track. Beth can’t imagine her life without fitness and she has met some amazing people along the way. She thanks the Instructors and Trainers at DTF for always inspiring her to be the best she can be! Congratulations Beth!
