6th Annual Free Boot Camp at Independence Park with Adriana FernsBristol Total Fitness and Bristol Parks and Recreation are teaming up to create a healthier community. Join Adriana for this free boot camp, open to the public. Bring your friends and family! Enjoy the fresh outdoors and downtown Bristol!

Bristol Total Fitness Blood Drive

Bristol Total Fitness is hosting a Blood Drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center. The blood center distributes blood products to hospitals in Rhode Island and Southern New England. Don’t forget to bring your drivers license or another form of ID when you donate. For your generous donation, you will receive a FREE Shake.

Have you ever thought about training with a personal trainer or taking a class, but didn’t know where to start? Fit Club with Dave Parker

Join Dave for this 8-week program that will help you gain strength and endurance. Group training high intensity and conditioning workouts will include a variety of equipment such as ropes, kettlebells, sleds and more. Fitness gains will be measured by comparing weights and times from previous workouts. Dave will encourage you to push yourself! Summer Survival with Dawn Casella

Summer is here and it’s time for you to look your best! For 6 weeks Dawn will educate you on how to sculpt and define your body with overall fitness conditioning. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Couch to 5k with Julie Fostin

Have you always wanted to run a 5k but just don’t know how to go about it? Now is your chance! Join this outdoor 8-week training at Buttonwood Park with participants that are just starting out just like you. Training will include an assessment before and after, group training session, and 5k homework. Julie’s goal for you is to join her to run/walk/jog and finish the Swansea Total Fitness Thanksgiving 5k. Has this always been on your bucket list, time to cross it off.

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Spinning for Teens with Lizzie Newton

This 6-week Spin group training will help bring teens to the next level or just stay active during the summer. A nutrition guide will be included with information about what to eat before and after workouts as well as some At-Home workouts to supplement your new cardio routine!

Members that Inspire Us

Linda Dubois has been a member of Bristol Total Fitness since January 2012. Her favorite exercise is anything that her trainer, Adriana, can throw at her. Linda likes to brag that even with Adriana kicking her butt, she’s still moving and she keeps coming back for more. Linda says, “As you get older, you have to work twice as hard for half the conditioning! But it’s all worth it in the end.” Her philosophy on working out is “Keep at it.” She also thinks the staff at Bristol Total Fitness is wonderful! Thanks, Linda, we think you’re pretty great too!
Jackie Burgess-Conlon joined Swansea Total Fitness in September 2006, Nadine Gennaoui in September 2012, Linda Cuddigan in June 2011, Deb Thompson in October 2012 and Becky Turner in August 2012. Six years ago, in 2012 when Group Power was launched the ladies began taking the class regularly. They even followed the class to SWTF when it was relocated from SKTF. They all agree that the class has kept them motivated to go to the gym regularly. The routine and music change every three months so participants don’t get bored. The instructors are enthusiastic, well trained and motivating. Congratulations Ladies!
Ariana Masi joined Seekonk Total Fitness in August of 2014. She started her fitness journey 7 years ago when she was 140lbs. heavier. Since losing all the weight, Ariana’s goals are to tone up and be stronger than she’s ever been. Her lifestyle change motivates her to come to the gym every day and eat healthy. Seeing progress and the post-workout feeling Ariana gets are what drives her fitness to the next level. She also hopes to inspire people with her story. Besides going to the gym, Ariana enjoys going to concerts, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Congratulations!
Lori Monteiro joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in September 2015. She attends the gym 5-6 times per week. She enjoys her one-on-one sessions with Personal Trainer, James Simmons, along with Julie F.’s Fever Fit and Spin classes with Julie & Julia. Lori has some major bragging rights too! She started her fitness journey in 2014 at 220lbs and is now over 50lbs lighter due to changes in her diet and active lifestyle! A fitness tip Lori would like to share is, “Try and find constant motivation and surround yourself with people who support your goals.” She has a great attitude and believes “Six feet above ground is a good day.” Congratulations!
