Pedal To End Cancer – Thank You!

We had our largest turnout ever at our annual Total Fitness Clubs fundraiser – 92 participants raised over $66,400 for the American Cancer Society through this year’s event! We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to all the participants who contributed to the success of this great cause. We’re especially proud of Total Fitness Member, Andrea Alexander, who was the Top ‘Pedal to End Cancer 2018’ Fundraiser in all of New England, for raising $48,775!”

Total Fitness Pet Drive

Total Fitness is teaming up with Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River for a pet supplies drive. We will be collecting pet supplies, treats, blankets, etc. to donate to animals in need. Any donations can be put in our box located in the foyer. See the front desk for a more detailed list of supplies.

Are you in need of some fitness N-Spiration? Join Julie for this 6-week group training that will motivate you to achieve your health and wellness goals. Total Fitness for Women with Stacia Abdow

Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. The program is for women of all fitness levels who have a desire to be the best they can possibly be. Learn how to make your workouts more effective with workouts tailored to your needs and goals. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. Stacia will provide each participant with written workouts to follow outside training times, nutrition guidance for pre and post workout meals, and measurements to keep your progress on track. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Train-FIT with Laurie Roderick

Do you want to burn maximum fat and tone your body? Laurie’s group training is for you, in 6-weeks you will improve your cardiovascular fitness along with strength, and endurance. Body Revival – Sugar Crush with Tammy Kappes

Join Tammy for this 6-week group training that will focus on functional and traditional training for you to reach optimal health and wellness. This total body results-driven program will build strength, cardiovascular endurance. Tammy will give you the tools to reach your goals while having a safe and effective workout. A meal plan will be given (extra charge) for participants who would like nutritional guidance. All levels of fitness welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week long program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at Space is limited, participants must sign up 1 week in advance and pay for 1/2 of the program to reserve a spot. (Friday – min. 3 max. 6 participants) (Saturday – min. 3 max. 8 participants)

Men of Iron with Walter Medeiros

This 8-week results driven strength training program for men focuses on total body fitness. This is a 6-week workshop geared towards women who are striving for a lean physique. Members that Inspire Us

Karen Fisher joined Bristol Total Fitness in November 2012. She attends the gym at least 4-5 times per week and loves to take Adriana’s Boot Camp classes. Karen is training to participate in her first Spartan Beast in May. She has also completed two Tough Mudders in the past, as well as her first Olympic triathlon, and over a half dozen obstacle course races. “Finding a workout that is fun and you can enjoy makes a big difference. I look forward to my time at the gym. Adriana is awesome and has trained me to not only be competitive in the race but has also improved my fitness level.” Congratulations!
Ashley Lockaby joined Swansea Total Fitness in July 2017. She trains 6-7 days a week. Ashley recently competed in the SWTF powerlifting competition and set two personal records – 280 lb. squat and 315 lb. deadlift. She has competed in NPC bodybuilding competitions for the past 3 years. Ashley suggests that you find what you enjoy and find what is sustainable! You can always find a fun way to burn calories and incorporate the foods you love in moderation. Something she truly believes is that “it’s the toughest days that make you grow stronger! Don’t give up, because not even you know what you are truly capable of until you push the limits!”
Greg Malo joined Seekonk Total Fitness in October 2015. He became serious about fitness as a collegiate athlete. During this time, Greg was taught the foundation of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. What motivates him to go to the gym at least five days a week is this quote by Jocko Willink ”There is no excuse to not get in the gym and get after it, five or six or seven days a week. You need one day off? Okay fine…but don’t take it today! Put that day off in the bank for when you really need it.” Greg’s goal for 2018 is to train harder and eat cleaner in an effort to become the healthiest possible version of himself. Congratulations!
Kerry Gowell joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in December 2014. He commits to working out 5-6 times a week and enjoys anything Personal Trainer, Stacia Abdow, has to throw at him. Since joining Total Fitness, Kerry has not only lost weight, but he has significantly improved his golf game, thanks to Personal Trainer, Jodi Garie. His advice to everyone is very straightforward – “Just show up” and “Fatigue is all in your head!” Kerry would also like to note that Dartmouth Total Fitness has the “best staff on the Southcoast!” Thank you, Kerry. We are so glad to have you as a member. Congratulations!
