Girls Clubs with Tammy Bettencourt
This 4-week group training will focus on movement and strength patterns designed to increase flexibility, strength, and caloric burn all while building lean muscle. Your total body training will target the upper body, lower body, and core to build strength and muscle mass along with cardio endurance. All exercises will be timed and modifications will be given if needed. All levels of fitness welcome.

Rhode Island Gyms Given Green Light To Open!
We’d like to thank all our staff and members for your support, complying with our new safety protocols, and making our re-opening a success!
We were very excited to re-open Bristol Total Fitness on Monday, June 1st, and welcome back all our amazing members and staff! We had been working diligently behind the scenes with cleaning protocols and facility improvements to ensure that when you come back you stay healthy and safe.
We are ready to open Swansea & Dartmouth as soon as Massachusetts permits. As of 6/12/20 Gyms are listed in phase 3 for MA. Governor Baker is releasing phase 2 guidelines on 6/6/20 so we have a ways to go before opening. Stay informed by checking FB pages for Dartmouth and Swansea re-opening dates.
Independence Park Free Low Impact HIIT Class with Ruth Raposa
Fun, challenging low-impact HIIT class using bodyweight only. It focuses on working all parts of the body with an emphasis on core and glutes. It combines strength, cardio and flexibility into one workout. You can work at your own pace and level of intensity. Limited to 15 participants.

Pedal to End Cancer Thank You!
Total donations from our annual Total Fitness Clubs fundraiser Pedal to End Cancer- 63 participants raised $16,761 for the American Cancer Society through this year's event! We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to all the participants who contributed to the success of this great cause. We're especially proud of Total Fitness Member, Lilly McCaughey who was the Top 'Pedal to End Cancer 2020' Fundraiser in all of New England, for raising $1,695!"

Participants will undertake a 10-week program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

MEMBERS THAT INSPIRE US
Kyle Robson joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2016. He works out five times a week and his favorite exercise involves bench pressing. Kyle trained for the Elite Powerlifting Federation National Championship last year, placing first in the Masters 242 weight class with a 415lb bench press. He encourages others to devote time to the gym and train hard. Kyle follows the quote, “No pain, No gain”, especially after his double knee replacement a few months ago. He enjoys working out at Swansea Total Fitness because the staff is awesome and always helpful. Keep making strides, Kyle!!

March Madness with Susan Gibeau
Join Fitness Coach Sue Gibeau for a 4-week group training program designed to channel your inner athlete! Each participant will learn to organize and execute a well-balanced workout routine focusing on the “5 components of fitness”; cardiovascular and muscle endurance, muscular strength and flexibility all while improving your overall body composition. Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros
Participants will undertake a 10-week program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.
Classes are based on fitness level, participants must contact Walter prior to the program at waltermedeiros@totalfitnessclubs.com. Pedal to End Cancer, formerly Spin for Hope, is a three-hour SPINNING event taking place simultaneously at participating health clubs around New England. 100% of the contributions go directly to the American Cancer Society!
This is really just a giant Spin Party for a great cause! With over 78 participants last year, Total Fitness raised over $12,000 for the ACS through this event!

Beth Cambra joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2006! She works out 5 days a week including Thursdays 2xs a day – Spin in the AM & Walter’s workshop in the PM. Beth's favorite classes are Michelle’s Spin & Tammy’s Boot Camp. She says with the influx of members from Seekonk brought a new group of people that she has been working out & taking classes with. Since then, Beth feels she is in the best shape of her life. She is stronger, more fit & healthier than she has ever been. Her advice is to find a good group of people to work out with, it can make the challenge that much more fun.

Tony Correia has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since 2007. He consistently works out 4-5 days a week. Tony's favorite exercises involve spinning and cardio, but he also enjoys weight lifting. You can find him heading to spin class multiple times a week. Tony’s success has been centered on his weight loss. Alex Joyal joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2012. He works out 5-6 days a week and loves to train chest and arms. In August 2019, Alex completed his first NPC Patriot Cup bodybuilding competition. He placed second in novice, open bodybuilding, and novice classic physique. Alex shares the importance of dieting, and how beneficial it is in order to gain results. “It takes a long time to achieve the body you want. It’s important to not get discouraged and to stick with your training and dieting routine”. Alex is planning on competing for a second time in April 2020. Awesome job, Alex!
