Private Yoga Sessions with Adriana Ferns

Private sessions are the perfect way to individualize your Yoga practice along with making it ideal for your body and mind. Holiday Survival with Dawn Casella

Get back on track this Fall before the holidays with this 4-week group training for all fitness levels. Walk this Weigh with Andrea Chase

This 8-week functional training program will combine power walking, hill climbing and strength training for weight loss and/or overall wellness. Metabolic Mondays with Erin Ward

Join Erin for the 4-week training that utlizes all three energy systems to rev up your metabolism. School Teacher Training with Adriana Ferns

Calling All School Teachers! This 8-week program is for teachers who want to get their workouts in right after school lets out. Sugar Shakedown with Adriana Ferns

This could be the year you break the sugar cycle! For 12 weeks this program will help clean out the sugar from your body and help stop those carb cravings as well as craving those sweets. MEMBERS THAT INSPIRE US

Maryanne & Kim Hayes joined Bristol Total Fitness in June 2019. They both workout 4-5 days a week. Maryanne remarked about how much she enjoys working out with her daughter and how it’s bringing them “super close.” Kim shares her bragging rights, ”I got my Mom to work out and to use weight machines!” With Kim’s encouragement, Maryanne can now complete a full work out, has doubled the amount of weight she lifts and has lost a few pounds. Maryanne says, “Even if it hurts & you don’t want to go to the gym, get out there!” Kim’s fitness tip is to “just have fun” and suggests keeping your workout to 45 mins. at a time.

Woman of Steel with Walter Medeiros

Join this 8-week progressive strength-training program for women focusing on all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular & muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of working with a group in a fun and encouraging atmosphere to achieve results. Workouts will consist of weight, balance and flexibility training with cardio intervals to focus on core strength. All fitness levels welcome. (min. 3 max. 6 participants)

Weight Loss Clinic with Walter Medeiros

Participants will undertake a 10-week program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Amy Silvia joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in January 2013. She attends the gym 3-5 times per week. Amy enjoys Power Lifting and recently competed in the USPA Rhode Island Power Classic over the summer. She currently holds the state record for her age/weight class! Amy believes that "fitness is a lifestyle and that you should never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Always give it your all and the results will come.” She would also like to note that "the staff at DTF is very friendly and they have the best members!" Congratulations, Amy!

This 8-week program is built around the strength and cardiovascular conditioning aspect to building muscle, gaining strength and burning fat. A co-ed program for anyone looking to improve his or her overall fitness and to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Workouts will include many different types of equipment like kettlebells, plyometric boxes, sandbags, rowers, battle ropes and much more. Weekly fitness and nutrition tips will be provided. Total Fitness for Women is an 8-week group-training program under the supervision of our certified personal trainer, Stacia Abdow. Accountability and support from your trainer and group will help you reach your goals. MEMBERS THAT INSPIRE US

Brandon Andrade joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in September 2018. He attends the gym 5-6 times per week. Weightlifting and playing basketball with friends are some of his favorite things to do in the gym. One of Brandon’s most memorable moments in the gym was when he beat his friend in a “Bench Off’. A quote he is inspired by is Nike’s “Just Do It.” Brandon has worked extremely hard over the last year and has lost 60lbs. He would like to mention that the Staff at DTF are very respectful and the gym is always clean and organized. Congratulations, Brandon!

Ariana Masi joined Bristol Total Fitness in August 2014. She works out 6 days a week, and enjoys weight training especially leg day! Ariana’s fitness journey began on June 2011 when she was 16 yrs. old. She has lost 140 lbs and says that going to the gym consistently has helped her maintain the weight loss, made her feel stronger and more confident. Ariana's fitness tip is to continue to work hard “because hard work pays off!” She reminds us that change doesn’t happen overnight, so don’t get discouraged. “Once you believe in yourself, anything is possible. Love yourself first.” Congratulations!

Participants will undertake a 10-week program that will combine personalized dietary guidelines for each individual along with a weekly group training session which will help build camaraderie amongst participants which will help you overcome many obstacles. Also included, weekly weigh-ins followed by a “group therapy” session to ultimately lose as much weight safely as well as to allow for the greatest amount of success to keep the weight off.

Alex Joyal joined Swansea Total Fitness in 2012. He works out 5-6 days a week and loves to train chest and arms. In August 2019, Alex completed his first NPC Patriot Cup bodybuilding competition. He placed second in novice, open bodybuilding, and novice classic physique. Alex shares the importance of dieting, and how beneficial it is in order to gain results. “It takes a long time to achieve the body you want. It’s important to not get discouraged and to stick with your training and dieting routine”. Alex is planning on competing for a second time in April 2020. Awesome job, Alex!

Brian Camara has been a member of Swansea Total Fitness since October 2018. He works out 5 to 6 days a week, participating in Muscle Confusion classes with Walter Medeiros and personal training sessions with Tony Quintanilha. With dedication and the help of his trainers, Brian has been able to lose 52 pounds since January 2019. Brian encourages others to plan a goal and to stick with it. “Seek knowledge from personal trainers and try to take a few sessions with them. Quick results are a myth!” Congratulations Brian and keep up the great work!

Kristine DeMelo joined Dartmouth Total Fitness in 2010. She has attended many group classes throughout that time frame, but every Saturday morning is always reserved for Carrie’s Spin class! Kristine has been working out consistently for 37 years, with different combinations of weight training and cardio. She attributes her great physical and mental health to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. A mantra she follows is, “If you don’t take care of your body, where will you live?” Kristine “appreciates the friendly atmosphere at DTF. There is no gym intimidation and the staff is always pleasant.” Congratulations Kristine!

Marco Valzovano has been a member at Bristol Total Fitness since 2014. He is very committed to fitness, working out every day of the week! Marco's workouts are a combination of strength training and cardio. He is often seen running on the treadmill logging as much as 8 miles per workout. Marco shared that he was a “really overweight kid” who began dieting and exercising at a young age. He has been consistently “active” for 15 years.
